The Cambridge Dictionary defines common sense as: “The basic level of practical knowledge and judgement we all need to help us live in a reasonable and safe way.” Other definitions include sound, practical judgement; our natural ability to make good judgements and to behave in a sensible manner; understanding right from wrong, and good from bad. Yet, in the past several decades, common sense has melted much faster than the climate crazies’ claim of our Arctic glaciers. What do ya know…the first example of a lack of common sense is highlighted in just the first paragraph!
