The Diagnostic & Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders – Fifth Edition (DSM-5) uses the label “Gender Dysphoria” (GD). Prior to this updated version in 2013, the DSM used the label “Gender Identity Disorder.” This renaming of the diagnostic labeling was to remove the “stigma” associated with the term “disorder.”
Well, what do ya know…while the DSM folks are concerned about “stigmatizing” children with this “condition,” countless whack-a-do teachers in our schools (especially tax-payer funded public schools) are bringing so much attention and promotion to having all children double-check to see if they are satisfied with how God created them. Usually, conditions and/or disorders contained in the DSM-5 are generally personal matters that involve parents, siblings, medical professionals, and occasionally teachers. But, these conditions/disorders listed in the DSM-5 don’t become a major part of the school curriculum. Well, we have one exception - “Gender Dysphoria” dominates the school curriculum.
There is such a reluctance to clearly state that GD is a mental illness. Instead it is popularized and normalized through our schools and liberal media to such a degree that the mental aspect of this dysphoria is almost ignored. Rather than focusing on and treating the mental facet and having the individual undergo lengthy psychotherapy treatment, there is a scheme to rush a young child into skipping the mental component and diving into beginning hormonal treatment. As we have seen in recent years some young adults who have undergone this un-godly transformation, and paid little mind to the psychotherapeutic piece, have been involved in mass murder situations.
The DSM-5 cites the prevalence rate of gender dysphoria to be estimated at 0.005 percent to 0.014 percent of males, and 0.002 percent to 0.003 percent of females. Epidemiology As real as this may be, it is a minuscular portion of our population that is commanding a huge percentage of media and public attention, while at the same time negatively impacting the majority of our population. How is that?
Here's another question - with the low stats on the prevalence of transgender dysphoria that have existed over time, what is causing the recent rapid on-set of gender dysphoria, which is increasing the percentages of children/teens declaring to have gender identity concerns? The answer is based on a number of factors, such as:
Peer Pressure – when one child “comes out” it opens the door for peers to explore.
Social Media – when gender identity issues are one of the main topics on social media cites, it becomes hip or prestigious to join the mob.
Current Fad – similar to the ‘hippie era’ when it was the ‘thing to do, and way to live’ that was antithetical to normal society.
But a more disastrous causal factor is our education system, teachers unions, and fascist-wokester teachers and administrators. These are ones who cook up and dispense the KOOL-AID to our children. And worse, they do so with the intent of concealing their tactics of indoctrination from parents!
There was a fleeting glimmer of hope. On March 24, 2023, the House of Representatives narrowly passed the “Parents Bill of Rights Act” requiring school districts to give parents access to curriculum and reading lists, as well as requiring schools to inform parents if staff begin to promote and encourage their child’s gender transition. Of course, not one democrat voted in favor of this bill. Surprised? Not me!
Then you won’t be surprised to learn that the liberal-led Senate would not even consider taking up the bill. That, along with Biden’s opposition to doing anything right for America, stopped the bill from becoming law. After all, parents shouldn’t look behind the curtain, or ask to many questions. If they do, the DOJ will put them on the domestic terrorist list.
Nevada public schools currently are 40.7% proficient in reading for elementary schools, and 31.1% proficient in math. NV Education Report Card Nevada has an overall ranking of 48th in the nation. This is broken down into three categories with Nevada public schools ranking 46th in school quality; 50th in school safety; and 45th in student success. 2024 Public School Rankings The irony is that the only improvement in language proficiency is expanding a young child’s vocabulary to include all sorts of pronouns by which to label oneself.
If the goals of education as a whole, and specifically teachers are (1) teach basic skills of reading, writing, and math (instead of hate, hypocrisy, and hysteria) in order for individuals to accomplish whatever task or job assigned to them in the future; and (2) become a critical thinker; and (3) become a responsible, moral, law-abiding citizen; and (4) be able to troubleshoot or strategize problematic situations, then contaminating the minds of children and prodding them to question their God-given gender does NOT meet the above listed goals of education.
This gender-identity indoctrinating KOOL-AID on which teachers are focusing the majority of their teaching time, is actually causing physical, emotional, and mental harm for our children. Puberty blockers have serious side effects, such as: reduced growth in height, joint pain, osteoporosis, severe depression and often suicidal ideation. Why on earth would a teacher want to have a child experience these possible conditions? Why on earth would a teacher go to great lengths to hide their actions and gas-lighting from the parents? Why on earth do school boards and teachers unions allow and promote this harmful inculcation?
Sadly, numerous people who were forced to drink this “Education KOOL-AID” in school have followed through with gender re-assignment procedures, and now fully regret their decision. Many, many children have imaginations, questions, and thoughts as normal part of childhood. We all know of or possible had a young boy enamored with Spider Man, who wore the costume 24/7 for possibly a few years. Did that child become Spider Man as an adult? Highly unlikely!
Children grow into and out of thoughts and pseudo identities. But when the seeds are planted by social media, peers, and especially teachers about gender identity, and when teachers water those seeds daily with their poisonous KOOL-AID, it becomes difficult for a child to grow out of those thoughts or identities. Chances are, without intervention and removing a child from that school environment, that innocent child might follow through with the program of changing the identity to which was given to them by God, to one day wake up with a major regret! Is it worth it?
