In reading the documents, letters, and even the Constitution, there is little doubt that the principles upon which our nation was founded are indeed found in the Bible. Liberty, equality and justice are all biblical principles. Our Creator loves justice. Yet, the heart of God is breaking because justice is waning ever since our nation has turned its back on God.
“He loves righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.” Psalm 33:5
My original plan was to make the topic of this final post about the injustice of our Department of Justice (DOJ). There are countless examples from which to draw data that points to the abundant corruption, bias, omission of truth, and unaccountability that runs rampant in this federal agency, headed by the U.S. Attorney General, who reports to the President of the United States.
The multiple law enforcement agencies that make up the DOJ are as follows:
· FBI,
· Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
· Federal Bureau of Prisons
· Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF)
· U.S. Marshals Service
The motto of the Justice Department is “Qui Pro Domina Justitia Sequitur” which is Latin for “who prosecutes on behalf of Lady Justice.” Lady Justice is the most recognizable symbol with the legal system in general. Most statues of Lady Justice feature her being blindfolded, and holding the scales of justice and a sword. The blindfold over her eyes is supposed to represent impartiality. The scales signify weighing the evidence for and against and matter before issuing a ruling. And the sword represents a sense of authority and power that justice can be administered as a finality.
Yet, it certainly seems that the current statue has poked holes in her blindfold; has a permanent weight on the left scale; and will use the sword to cut off the truth to what is really going on in our justice system, particularly the DOJ.
There is a very lengthy list of examples that our government (at all levels) has operated in an unjust and biased manner—both covertly and overtly. This is not a comprehensive list, but some of the highlights of the past several years:
ERIC HOLDER
June 28, 2012 – Congress voted to hold Eric Holder, President Obama’s first Attorney General in contempt of Congress for his failure to turn over subpoenaed documents related to the “Fast and Furious” scandal. Holder requested Obama to assert executive privilege (not to be confused with white privilege) over those documents. More than sixty-four thousand documents related to the Fast and Furious debacle were eventually released on Election Day, November 4, 2014, but Holder had already resigned his post as AG on September 25 of that same year.
Our double-standard of justice was recently demonstrated when Peter Navarro, former advisor to President Trump, was convicted of contempt of Congress for also failing to turn over documents to J-6 clown show committee, while Holder was not held accountable for his actions.
Then we had Obama’s second corrupt AG, Loretta Lynch. You remember her. She was the one who had an impromptu social visit (AKA meeting) with Bill Clinton in a plane that was sitting on the tarmac of the Phoenix Sky Harbor airport. The timing was quite suspicious since Bill (the husband of a presidential candidate who was the target of an investigation by the FBI) met privately with the U.S. Attorney General—bad optics, to say the least. Okay, this example just blends into our next crooked character in the DOJ, James Comey. This clown did not find any “clear evidence that Secretary Clinton or her colleagues intended to violate laws governing the handling of classified information.” You see, it’s normal for a Secretary of State to use a private server to send/receive over thirty-thousand emails, many of which were classified, and then to delete the emails and use hammers and bleach to destroy the hardware. Come on, that’s acceptable when weights are placed on the left tray of Lady Justice’s scale. Oh by the way, AG Lynch declined to press charges against Hillary.
Robert Mueller, a former FBI Head, was selected to be the special prosecutor in the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax against President Trump. His team of biased, corrupt, liberal investigators and attorneys even unlawfully obtained emails during Trump’s transition into office—emails protected under attorney-client privilege. But, let’s not re-hash the details of that useless, corrupt, and very costly investigation that turned up nothing. Yet, we can add more email stories…
STRZOK, PAGE, MCCABE, AND COMEY CLOWN SHOW
Oh, you recall the email exchange between FBI lovers Peter Strzok and his mistress Lisa Page. These two characters, along with the then Deputy FBI Director, Andrew McCabe and others in the FBI were involved assisting corrupt Comey draft his “let Hillary off the hook letter.” And the current FBI Director, Christopher Wray, never really held any of these people accountable, probably because he is as corrupt as they are—time will tell.
Let’s fast-forward from the rest of Trump’s term in office when he endured two impeachment attempts, and was ultimately accused of inciting an insurrection of the capitol on January 6, 2021. His recent indictments, if they go to trial, will undoubtedly shed much-needed light on the actual facts of that day, as well as the rampant corruption in the 2020 presidential election—that is unless we get a corrupt Lady Justice judge with holes in her blindfold.
“DSOJ” DOUBLE STANDARD OF JUSTICE, NOT DOJ
Speaking of January 6, the DOJ—or what should be called the DSOJ (Double Standard of Justice) has handed out numerous lengthy sentences for what they deem to be “domestic terrorists” involved in the January 6 protest at the Capitol. The majority of Americans do not condone or support ideologies or practices from any extreme group, left or right. But we do expect our justice system to apply the law fairly, equally, and justly to all, regardless of political affiliation.
Such has not been the case for those arrested for their involvement on January 6. Rapists, murders, thieves, and other criminals have been given much lighter sentences. Oh, and
· Did the DOJ exhaust all efforts to find the person who planted the pipe bombs outside Democrat and Republican national headquarters?
· Did they conduct a thorough and transparent investigation on the Capitol police officer, Michael Byrd, who shot and killed an un-armed protester, Ashli Babbitt, on January 6?
· Have any of the BLM protestors who caused horrendous damage, arson, looting, and even death received as harsh a sentence as those convicted for the J-6 incident?
The recent testimony of the whistleblowers has exposed truth of the corruption that runs deep at the DOJ and IRS; testimony that even the left-leaning media has been forced to cover.
How can an ordinary guy from Scranton, PA yield so much power to have corrupt puppets in our government do everything possible to promote his wayward and destructive political agenda?
We’ve all known corruption is part of any party’s administration, but I don’t think we knew how devious and evil it could be. The Hunter laptop scandal that has revealed momentous allegations of nefarious dealings with foreign governments on the part of our current President shocks the conscious of our nation. The House Judiciary Committee released a 1050-page report on November of 2022 detailing the findings of their investigation to the abuse and corruption that is rampant in the FBI. Here are a few of their findings:
· The FBI is artificially inflating statistics about domestic violent extremism in the nation.
· The FBI is abusing its counterterrorism authorities to investigate parents who spoke at school board meetings.
· The FBI has abused its foreign intelligence authorities to spy on American citizens, including people associated with the campaign of President Trump in 2016.
· Whistleblowers have explained how the FBI’s “political meddling” “is dragging the criminal side [of the Bureau] down” as resources are “pulled away” from real law-enforcement duties.
· The FBI is purging conservative employees and helping to censor conservative viewpoints online.
· The DOJ and the FBI continue to allow attacks on pro-life facilities and churches to go unabated, while pushing an anti-life agenda.
Enough is enough. We could continue to point to examples of corruption and injustice in our country, but we should instead employ solutions to at least lessen the degree of corruption that exists. It starts with prayer, and we need lots of it. Next, we need to get actively involved in what is going on in our communities, states, and nation as a whole.
· Research diligently for the truth
· Calmly impart your findings to your friends and family
· Voice your concerns to those who have been elected or chosen to lead us
· Thoroughly vet all candidates
· And vote like your life depends on it—because it does!

I thought this would be the final thoughts on this series about the dire health of our nation. But just when you think this administration can’t cause any more destruction or harm to us, our President pulls out his pen and writes another executive order.
CANCELED OIL AND GAS LEASES
The most recent wound was thrust upon our nation on September 6, 2023 when our illustrious leader (choose your own antonym) signed his one-hundred-twenty-second devasting executive order that will likely cause our nation to take its final breath! Biden just canceled seven oil and gas leases in Alaska. It doesn’t matter that this executive order is in violation of our Constitution, it only matters that the fear-mongering, climate crazies get their wish to end all fossil fuels NOW? For fun, check out all of his disastrous executive orders since taking office and taking down our country. Okay, maybe that’s not actually fun.
In 2017, as part of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, Congress mandated lease sales of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) Coastal Plain exploration and development of oil and gas to occur on about 8 percent of the refuge. It also required that energy be delivered to the nation and revenue to the treasury, still maintaining a safe and healthy environment in Alaska. These lease sales were to be completed by the end of 2024. Way to go Joe, signing the executive order (probably with his crayon) will deny American access to around 11 billion barrels of oil, if not more.
After first taking office in 2021, Biden and his Interior Secretary, Deb Haaland, (who adamantly opposes oil drilling, fracking, pipelines etc.) issued an executive order putting a temporary moratorium on the leasing program in Alaska. So in reality, he had put the kibosh on oil and gas production on day-one, but this lates EO puts the final nail in the coffin.
“I HATE AMERICA” MISUSE OF POWER
So, why should we care so much about this latest “I hate America” misuse of power by this current administration? The Executive Branch and Federal agencies do not have the authority to rewrite laws. Only the Legislative Branch does. That is exactly what the Department of the Interior Secretary and our President did when they canceled leases that were properly mandated and approved into law by Congress in 2017.
The majority of Biden’s numerous EOs were done to “cancel” or “veto” Trump-era policies—especially the ones that benefitted our nation’s economy, national security, productivity, etc.; all with much less government regulation and interference.
It is amazing when presidents tout their accomplishments on job creation and healthy economies for the middle-class. Biden has been doing just that; then pulls a stunt like this.
What about all the Indigenous communities in an isolated region where oil production is a major economic driver?
How many jobs will be lost as a result?
If you think the current price at the pump is high, just wait to see it climb even higher.
Did you like the drastic increase in home energy prices last year? Hey Joe, can you give all Americans a few dollars from the money you received from selling out America to foreign governments?
We’re all going to need an increase in our income just to cover the harm you have done with your pen.
CLIMATE CRAZIES
For all the “greeners” and climate crazies out there who are dreadfully fearful of co2 emissions, here is a truth about God’s Creation:
People breathe in oxygen and exhale co2, while plants and trees breathe in co2 and emit oxygen. Plants and trees absorb co2 in order for humans to breathe.
So why are they trying to upset God’s formula by cancelling what He created? Let’s see how long these climate clowns can exist without all thousands of products made from petroleum.
First of all, fossil fuels play a vital role in the product of those enormous and expensive batteries for all those electric vehicles (including Kamala’s favorite—the yellow school bus.) And after we rid our streets from gasoline-engine vehicles, all the EVs can wait in line for the electric grid to be restored after being shut down due to overuse. Can’t wait to see that.
Now, back to the products from which are made from petroleum. Can AOC (Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez) go without her makeup, comb, shampoo, clothes, shoes, nail polish, deodorant, purse, lotion, lipstick, or perfume? Think about the things we generally don’t think about which are made from petroleum, such as roofing, dashboards, upholstery, carpet, linoleum, refrigerators, fan belts, wire insulation, and tires. Can you imagine the impact on health care without heart valves, aspirin, anesthetics, hearing aids, bandages, glycerin, antiseptics, rubbing alcohol, artificial limbs, antihistamines, cortisone, and vitamin capsules? And what would Joe do without ink, crayons, ballpoint pens, and toilet seats when he sits on the john to sign his executive orders?
The health of our nation is in crisis. As previously mentioned, God’s heart must be aching at how far we have shoved Him away from our lives, and disregarded our nation’s founding on Him. In Noah’s day, God had had enough. Sadly, our nation is behaving in like manner.
“The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. The Lord regretted that He had made human beings on the earth, and His heart was deeply troubled.” Genesis 6:5-6
Hopefully this series on “Is America on Life-Support?” has been a wake-up call for all of us to do an open-heart examination of our role in our wounded nation. We need to do what we can to put God first in our own lives, and the life of our nation. And finally, we need to call upon God to heal our land. God Bless….
