"Is America On Life-Support?" (Part Four)
The declining health of our nation isn’t the result of one root cause. Various ideologies, policies, executive orders, and other socialist/woke agendas have weakened the immune system of our once-renowned Republic. In the previous posts, we have looked at the actions, decisions, propaganda, and promotion of the things that have infected our national body, which have brought about our critical condition. Here in part four, we will highlight the truth and lies about the “climate hoax.”
Aren’t you getting a bit tired of the constant fear-mongering, which we have been subjected to in the past several years. Most recently, the CDC, WHO, flip-flop Fauci, liberal media, and the Biden Administration inundated us with fear tactics and mis-truths about the China virus and the deadly vaccines. Now that the COVID crisis has waned due to exposing the lies, the focus returns to “Climate Change.” Since the 1960’s (and certainly before) doomsayers have spewed out apocalyptic predictions about the demise of the earth, as a result of so-called man-made climate atrocities. Here are just a few predictions made by the alarmists that, well, just didn’t happen:
· 1967: Dire Famine Forecast By 1975
· 1970: Urban Citizens Will Require Gas Masks by 1985
· 1970: Ice Age By 2000
· 1971: New Ice Age Coming By 2020 or 2030
· 1972: New Ice Age By 2070 (alright, enough of the ice age predictions)
· 1972: Oil Depleted in 20 Years
· 1988: Temperature in DC Will Hit Record Highs
· 1989: Rising Sea Levels Will Obliterate Nations if Nothing Done by 2000
· 2000: Children Won’t Know What Snow Is
· 2008: Climate Genius Al Gore Predicts Ice-Free Arctic by 2013
· 2011: Washington Post Predicted Cherry Blossoms Blooming in Winter
Okay, enough of this nonsense. I can’t keep up…is it extreme heat or cold that is going to destroy us? The “predictors” need to hold a convention to get their “alarms” in order.
Then you have the likes of John Kerry preaching to us from his private jet with comments like, “Confronting climate change is, in the long run, one of the greatest challenges that we face, and you can see this duty or responsibility laid down in scriptures, clearly.” Hmm, I don’t think the Bible “clearly” speaks about climate change, John. Isn’t it God Who created the earth (and everything else)? Isn’t He in charge of rain, snow, sunshine etc.?
As far as Scripture goes, God will one day erase this current universe and replace it with the New Heaven and New Earth (Revelation chapters 21-22). So John, please step away from the pulpit. And furthermore, we are not going to again listen to the then 15-year-old Greta Thunberg, who wagged her finger as she admonished us with, “How dare you!”
Let’s make some things very clear. The majority of Americans (conservatives included) are not opposed to alternative forms of energy i.e. solar, wind, electric vehicles (EV), etc. What the sensible majority of us ARE opposed to is it being shoved down our throats…MANDATED! We had enough of that with COVID.
The other thing we are opposed to is having the federal government being in charge of every aspect of these programs and ventures—from spending, oversight, regulations, etc. The private sector should be designing, developing, manufacturing, and marketing these efforts—without a dime of tax-payer money. The only role the government should play is in streamlining the approval process and eliminating the useless regulations.
Instead, our government spends billions of tax-payer money on these programs and has a complete loser in charge of the Dept. of Energy, Jennifer Granholm. While she was governor of Michigan (boy, that state can really pick them, can’t the) Granholm doled out millions of tax-payer dollars to alternative energy companies that ended up in bankruptcy. Now she is head of the DOE, which was created in 1977 for the initial purpose of oversight of nuclear energy, which this administration is ignoring completely.
Most Americans enjoy taking warm/hot showers; cooking meals using gas stoves/ovens (even some BBQ’s); winter evenings with a gas fireplace; heating our homes with natural gas; having clean dishes (gov’t. wants to reduce gallons of water per cycle in dishwashers); and driving our gas-powered vehicles without having to stop and charge our battery. But, NO…we MUST stop using clean natural gas and instead be forced to only have all-electric appliances; all-electric vehicles; expensive solar panels; kill hundreds of whales and birds with gigantic wind turbines; and stop being the world’s leader in natural gas production and exporting in the world. Yeah, that sounds like a great idea.
It's not just our energy sector that relies heavily on fossil fuels, of which we have an abundance, but the modern world would find it devasting if materials such as steel, cement, plastics, and ammonia were to become in extremely short supply because of the ban on fossil fuels.
Think about it. Fossil fuels are used to produce synthetic ammonia—a vital ingredient for making nitrogen fertilizers. Organic fertilizers, with their low nitrogen content, would not be able to successfully feed the over 8 billion people currently inhabiting the earth. Think about plastics; they are used in just about everything from all tubing, sterile packaging, trays, blood bags, beds, thermal blankets, etc.—and that’s just in the medical field. And what about concrete? Well, many of our homes are built on concrete foundations, with concrete sidewalks and driveways. Not to mention our buildings, bridges, airport runways…the list goes on. The same can be said about steel. Bottom line is that this “net-zero emissions” goal would make the world a very difficult place in which to live.
And one more thought, CO2 is necessary for tree and plant life, which keeps our environments green. The same carbon dioxide we put into the air from burning fossil fuels is plant food; as all the carbon in a tree or plant comes from the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Greening the earth is a better idea than “the Green New Deal.” While the government is tyrannically trying to stop our use of fossil fuels, such as natural gas, they are spending countless tax-payer dollars on simply “passing gas!”

Now let’s look at the raw materials used to manufacture renewable energy products. Solar panels use Arsenic, Gallium, Copper, Indium, Diselenide, Tellurium, and Cadmium. Wind turbines use Aluminum and some, if not all, rare-earth elements, of which there are seventeen total. And for electric vehicle batteries Cobalt; Graphite, Lithium, and Manganese are used.

We don’t have a problem with the raw materials themselves. What we do have a problem with is HOW they are obtained (mined), and what is the cost—the human cost? My part three article of this series was about human trafficking, where human beings are smuggled/trafficked for commercial sex and/or actual slave labor. Well, the means used to mine these raw materials to make all the “green” products is modern-day slavery—like human trafficking.
Cobalt is an essential ingredient for EV batteries, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is the place were more than half of the world’s cobalt is mined. There are at least 100,000 miners, with approximately 40 percent of them children as young as 7-years-old. These poor individuals are lacking the proper tools and protective clothing/gear to keep them safe. For all the back-breaking work they do, they earn an average of $2/day, not to mention the average life-span of men in the DRC is 47 years, and for women 51 years. To make things worse, China controls (through investors) almost 70 percent of the DRC’s mining sector.

Speaking of China, this shrewd communist nation has once again duped the rest of the world, mainly the U.S. China has produced, registered, and thrown away over thousands and thousands of EV cars. In order to get investments from suckers like our government, John Kerry, and the rest of the climate clowns, they have developed this Ponzi scheme to claim they have “sold” huge numbers of EVs in order to obtain more investment money. They DID produce the thousands and thousands of electric vehicles, as well as the tens-of-thousands of “shared bicycles” —but all of them are now rotting in huge car/bicycle grave yards. You’ve got to watch this video to see for yourself. Oh, and the money that is invested to the corrupt communists, is our tax dollars!

So now what. China has massive fields of cars with rotting batteries. Crazy Joe, AOC, Krazy Kerry, and all the other climate clowns are mandating we all get electric vehicles. What happens to those batteries when they die? Eventually the thousands of wind turbines will one day fail, as will the thousands of solar panels. What happens to them? The answer—LANDFILLS!
The climate alarmists who preach and demand they are doing all of this to save the environment, are actually destroying the environment. All the hazardous waste from which these products are made, will eventually go into the earth they are so desperately trying to save. This isn’t how God designed it!
