BLINDED BY HATE

On July 24, 2024 Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu delivered his fourth address to the joint-session of Congress, and what a speech it was!  Surprise, surprise…it was powerful, inspirational, and most of all truthful – something we are not used to from many political leaders in America.

Of course, those leaders who hate America are so blinded by hate that they can’t see, hear, or embrace when truth is revealed.  They are traumatized by hate – kind of like a mythical vampire who reacts to a crucifix. 

It was again evident today when people like Nancy Pelosi, Bernie Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Pramila Jayapal, Patty Murray, Jim Clyburn, and Tim Kaine decided to boycott Netanyahu’s speech.  Yet, what was more telling was the current VP and presumptive Democrat nominee for President of the United States, Kamala Harris who chose to deliver a speech to a black sorority group (Zeta Phi Beta) in Indianapolis, where she lied about Trump’s campaign embraces “Project 2025”, and of course emphasized reproductive rights, i.e. killing babies in the womb.

Ms. Harris should be reminded that one of the areas of responsibility of which a president should be mindful, is foreign policy.  Dodging, skipping, or boycotting a foreign leader on our own soil doesn’t give us hope or confidence that she would bode well in the foreign policy arena if (God forbid) the questionable voting tabulations were to result in her becoming our Commander in Chief.

While these woke, socialist ostriches opted to go to the beach where sand was plentiful in which to bury their heads, they missed a very powerful, concise, and again truthful address.  Netanyahu schooled our current President’s ability to deliver facts, dispel truths, and unite Israel and the United States, instead of spewing false claims and propaganda baked into his anti-American agenda.

All the horrendous lies the Marxist left and corrupt media claimed about how Israel, without provocation, was out to annihilate every man, woman, and child in Gaza, was dispelled succinctly by Netanyahu.  He gave truthful details of the events that occurred since October 7, 2023. Here are just a few of the highlights from his speech:

·      Iran-funded Hamas were the ones who initiated a heinous attack on Israel

·      The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) went to extreme lengths to warn citizens of Gaze before deploying efforts to rid Gaza of Hamas terrorists

·      Israel sent 28,018 aid trucks – half a million tons of food into Gaza – and that the false claim of a famine is not a reality

·      Netanyahu’s goal is not to settle Gaza but to rid Gaza of Iran-backed terrorism and have Gazan citizens live in peace and prosperity

·      He praised Biden for sending initial aid to Israel (but that didn’t last long); and he praised Trump for the Abraham accords re-locating the US Embassy to Jerusalem

·      He warned that Israel is just a stepping stone to conquer in Iran’s ultimate goal of destroying America.  Based on this, Israel and the US should become a united front

There is a stark difference in the poise and professionalism that Netanyahu displayed in coming to America to address Congress for the purpose of seeking military and financial aid to defeat terrorism in Israel, than Ukraine’s President Zelensky’s repeated trips to the US to gravel and beg for money without accountability of where that money actually goes.  Zelensky’s presentations were littered with pleas for money, whereas Netanyahu briefly mentioned a request for aid at the very end of his address.

All the while, the radical America-hating leaders, media, and Anti-Semitic protestors were busy stirring their kettle of hate.  Look at Biden’s track record.  He’s dumped billions and billions of dollars into Ukraine to prolong a war…which appears to favor Russia.  His disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan clearly favored the Taliban.  And his billions of dollars sent to Iran has been the pot of gold Iran is using to dispatch terrorism throughout the Middle East and beyond.  But, Biden is reluctant to assist our biggest ally.  Sadly, that type of leadership won’t stop with Joe – it is inbred throughout the radical left cabal.

But let’s address the antics of the protestors.  The hate runs so deep in the recesses of their hearts that they will stop at nothing to display their hatred.  Pro-Hamas protestors wreaked havoc on the Watergate Hotel where Netanyahu was staying.  They pulled fire alarms on various floors to disrupt Netanyahu’s sleep.  They disgustingly went into banquet room and left piles of maggots on the banquet tables.  How low will they go?  How long will they be blinded by hate?

Protests were taking place while Netanyahu was speaking truth from his heart.  In doing so, he clearly addressed the evil that lurks not only in America, but throughout the world. Netanyahu was correct in calling these haters “Iran’s useful idiots!”

From the biblical declarations of God’s love and care for His chosen people, the nation of Israel, and from the history of nations being destroyed because of their evil dealings with God’s chosen people, the Jews, Christian believers should give support to the chosen people of God.
